UltraSlicer: Slicer software for 3D-printing (2020)

For the course "Computational Fabrication" we, Bas Van Assche and I, created UltraSlicer. This is a slicer to slice STL-objects for 3D-printing. A short demo of the application can be viewed in the video. Our strength was the high degree of possibilities and "tweakability" in the settings.

Augmented Reality In Wet Laboratories (2019)

For my bachelor thesis at Hasselt University I made an Augmented Reality application for Wet Labs. This in context of the Industry 4.0 Flanders "Testing Ground" (Dutch: proeftuin). The intention was to facilitate the work of lab-technician and researchers in the lab by visualising protocols, materials and safety sheets with AR. All this is presented at BioVille with a demo afterwards. The results were especially positive. For all results you can download the thesis and poster below.

Find Your Friends (2018)

Find Your Friends is an Android application created for the course PSOPV (nl: Project Software Ontwikkeling en Professionele Vaardigheden /en: Project Software Development and Professional Skills) at UHasselt. The idea behind the application is to view the location of your friends and share yours with them, but with a focus on privacy. You can set a different radius of precision for each friend without revealing your precise location. Below is a short demo-video of the functionalities. The application was made together with Thibo Claes and Stef Loos.

OpenGL 3D world (2018)

For Computer Graphics at UHasselt Arthur Jansen and I had to make a 3D open world in OpenGL. Outside the standard requirements we built the following features:

Per pixel lighting

Colission detection with Axis Aligned Bounding Boxes

Animations

Skybox

Monopoly Mega Edition (2017)

The first "bigger", given the time, project in my academic bachelor. Arthur Jansen and I made a digital version of Monopoly Mega Edition to learn the principles of Object Oriented Programming.
